Dear worldwide fans of JYJ,

Regarding Jejung, Yuchun, and Junsu’s (hereafter JYJ) situation in Japan, ever since the sudden and unilateral announcement in September 2010 by their current management company Avex to suspend their activities, JYJ have been unable to have activities in Japan.

In spite of the Japanese fans continuously sending requests to Avex for the resumption of the three’s activities in this past 8 months, till now we have not even received acceptable explanations for the suspension, and we are at our wits’ end for ways to have JYJ’s activities resumed.

We—as international consumers of the Korean Wave, supporters of JYJ and citizens of the world that value justice and the rule of law—hereby condemn the official statement issued by Korean Broadcasting System (hereafter, “KBS”) on 18 May, 2011 regarding its reasons to prohibit JYJ from appearing on “Music Bank” and other such entertainment programs. We declare the statement to be factually incorrect, intentionally misleading and provoking of international disdain.

The Courts of Korea have already declared multiple times that the exclusive contract between JYJ and SM Entertainment has no effect during the duration of the lawsuit, that for reasons of social and civil security it cannot be allowed to stand, and that it shall not be invoked as a reason to hinder the careers of the members of JYJ. Since 2009, the Seoul Central District has continuously affirmed this stance, which renders KBS’ hastily modified claim that its own position has changed since February 2011 a case of obstinate blindness and self-mockery. Ultimately, any attempt by KBS to use the exclusive contract and the lawsuit between JYJ and SM Entertainment as a justification for prohibiting JYJ’s media appearances run contrary to the explicit mandate of the Court and is a mischaracterization.

At the same time, we look forward to KBS honoring its commitment to broadcast JYJ on Music Bank when the group’s new album is released.

On “Immortal Song 2,” Why isn’t Xiah Junsu?

JYJ’s Kim Junsu who is acknowledged both in name and in fact to be person with the best singing ability among idols. He is distinguishing himself not only on the stages of pop songs but also on musicals and has sold out tickets in the tens of thousands and has received “Newcomer of the Year” award in the Korean Musical Awards and has taken stages (T/N: that have been featured on? The writer is mistaken here) Broadways and has so been recognized in his abilities. He is a talent who is not fit to be just treated as an idol who makes your hands curl, singing “I want to be your bed for one day.”

I won’t talk about the incident of the split of TVXQ that everyone knows. After the incident, unsurprisingly, JYJ’s appearance on broadcast is becoming a rare occasion. Park Yoochun is appearing in a drama but it is an outside maker, and the incident of the foundering of appearances in “On the Roll” and “Come to Play” causes much irritation to see, not just for fans but also for non-fans who are neither one way nor the other.

4.5%(Music Bank, KBS), 7.3%(Music Center, MBC), 8.0% (InkiGayo, SBS) are viewing rates of music show from 3 major TV stations last week.

Stagnation of music show is not a matter of yesterday and today, but a consequence as a matter of course after all similar programs with only different titles have gone degraded as exhibition showcases of idol singers from entertainment companies.

[News article says: In contrast, viewing rate of I am a singer(MBC) program exceeded 15.1% rating. Now, we can safely say that music show programs which once were representative faces of 3 major TV stations become the least popular program under both categories of music and entertainment]

Happy news ^^ Today I went to the advertising agency and because the Tio ad that Yoochun Hyung is doing did so well, Dongsuh Food Products (maker of Tio) are all smiles and said that indeed this is Yoochun effect and that they will supply all Dongsuh-made products without limit ^^ We thank each and every one who has loved (and supported) Tio^^

Something that is even better is that it is hard to see Tio even when one goes to the market ^^ lol Tio’s success is that much. An affiliate from the Dongsuh Food Products (said that) Tio set records that could not be seen until now lol

Singer and musical actor Kim Junsu (JYJ, Xiah Junsu) once again accomplished a legend in selling out tickets.

Musical “Mozart!’s” producer EMK Musical Company revealed, “the ticket for Kim Junsu’s 8 performances in “Mozart” which started today (4th) have sold out.”

The number of sold-out tickets are for a total of 13,000 seats in eight shows. Kim Junsu, when he was appearing in “Mozart!” last year, had also sold all 30,000 seats for 15 performances in Saejong Culture Hall. [Previously], the 40,000 seat musical concert starring Junsu had also sold out.

A time ago fans from USA (@USAlovesJYJ) started a petition to bring JYJ on Ellen, just to see JYJ on their own TV.

The petition brought us to a bigger project. A project that can make our voice heard directly by Ellen herself.

I think that its time that we work together as one and show everyone how popular JYJ is. And if people don’t bring them on TV

in their own hometown then we will bring them on TV in the USA! So here is the project.

Every Saturday (for a month long) we are going to tell Ellen who JYJ is. We are gonna send her the facts we always share.

So we usually write things like OMO Jaejoong tweeted, or cute picture, or ahh I’m listening to Empty now jump jump jumping in my room.
